A large portion of Austria Legal's practice is devoted to defending vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, contractors and subcontractors, consulting firms, food and beverage companies, apparel companies, oil and gas companies, healthcare companies, advertising firms, insurance companies, and transportation companies (among many others) in adversary proceedings filed in the United States Bankruptcy Court. Most of these cases include claims for recovery of alleged preferential transfers under Section 547 of the Bankruptcy Code. REPRESENTATION
Austria Legal regularly represents creditors and other interested parties in conjunction with motions for relief from automatic stay, motions for allowance and payment of administrative expense claims (including claims pursuant to section 503(b)(9) of the Bankruptcy Code), motions to assume or reject executory contracts and unexpired leases, and various other motions filed in the bankruptcy court.
